Recess Week is almost over and I hardly did any work. All I did was eat.sleep.eat.sleep
I spent more time on Youtube and Facebook than on my assignments. Now I'm starting to PANIC.
I don't want Recess Week to end. I love staying at home and waking up anytime I want. boo

Didn't know that Singlish can be so entertaining haha
Today I almost had to make a very important decision:
To be knocked down by a car or be ripped apart like a chicken wing by a huge dog.
Here's what happened: I was waiting by the traffic light when a HUGE dog that's probably half my size came. It may be on a leash but it looked like it could overpower its owner and rip me apart like chicken wing! I was scared to death and was seriously contemplating dashing across the road. The only thing stopping me was the thought that the dog might not find my skinny legs appetizing while dashing across the road would definitely land me in a hospital or 6 feet under.
But if the dog had shown any indication of having me for dinner, I would sprint across the road. Somehow having a quick death or at worse broken bones and internal injuries seem like a better option than to be slowly ripped apart, limb by limb. Ouch!
Thankfully I did'nt tickle the dog's fancy or I'll be spending Recess Week in a hospital.
Motivation takes place when time abandons you and deadline comes near (Wanxuan, 2009)
I know I'm getting the referencing all wrong but isn't this so much better? If I had put (Lim, 2009), most likely you won't know which Lim I'm talking about. Maybe in Western context it's easier to identify you by your surname. There's very few Pitts around but tons of Brads. But in Asian context, there's so many Lims but very few Wanxuans.
They need a new referencing system for Asians.
This semester's timetable is taking a toll on me. It's the worst ever! A 5-day week's quite endurable but it really sucks when for 4 out of 5 days, I start at either 8.30 or 9.30am and only end at 4.30 or 5.30pm. By the time I reach home, shower, have dinner, rest for a while, it's already 9pm. Waking up at 6am is just torturous. Sadly Wednesday seems to be the only humane day. Can't wait for this semester to be over.
Next sem, I wish for a humane timetable. Either start early and end early; or start late and end late.
