I went to a secondary school for practicum today. The school is quite near my house but there's no direct bus there so I had to alight at some isolated bus-stop and followed the students - thank god for school uniforms! I was quite surprised that secondary school kids can be quite entertaining although they're not as adorable and cute as those in primary school. Now I doubt that I'll be switching to the primary track.
Had lots of fun today except that the school didn't provide trainees with a timetable so we spent most of the time roaming around the school in search of a class to observe. Hopefully tomorrow will be a fruitful day.
I just ended my practicum in a primary school yesterday. It feels so good to be taller than 2/3 of the school population! I'm starting to regret choosing the secondary track. Primary school kids are so cute!! They're always clapping away (11 claps, silent clap...) They're just adorable. There's this cute English-Malay boy in my P2 class. He's so cheeky and hyper. Haha more Singaporeans should marry angmohs and have cute kids!
Who would have thought that teaching in a primary school can be so much fun! I'm going to miss all the clapping...
